At the end of the path is a trainer next to a Star Piece. Return to the beach and continue North. A trainer will stop you at the top of the next set of stairs. West of the trainer is a narrow, grassy path that extends to the South. At the end of the path is a trainer next to TM19 - Telekinesis. Continue to the North East part of the island. Head down the stairs to the waters of Route This part of Route 17 is the Northern half. Just West of the steps to Route 17 is a small beach. Unfortunately, you won't be able to reach it from here. Navigate through the middle of Route 17 to make it to this beach. After squeezing through the middle of Route 17 , you can make your way to this Northern Beach.

Another trainer will be waiting in the middle of the bridge. Push the boulder with Strength and pass under the bridge to get to the Dragon Scale , which evolves certain Pokemon like Seadra.
A strip of grass in the far southwestern corner of the large island holds HM05 Waterfall which allows you to travel up waterfalls! Now, follow the stairs and bridges on the north side of the large island. When you come down to the northeast beach in the east, you may notice some parts of the island remain inaccessible. Enter the oceans and use the currents along the northern stretch of water to reach the small northeastern island with a lab on it.
On the island with the Laboratory, search the grass for a TM24 Thunderbolt. Inside the lab you can pick up a Dubious Disc. Surf west from the Laboratory and avoid the currents completely. Work your way southwest past Swimmer Caroline. You can use this current-free path from the Lab island to reach the beach on the middle of the eastern coast of the big island.
Here you can grab a Heart Scale. Pass under the northern bridge past Battle Girl Hillary into the dark grass on the northern coast to find TM19 Telekinesis. That wraps it up for this area; head for Icirrus City! You can get this from Crustle in the wild if you use Steal. Northwest of Backpacker Sam requires Strength. On the edge of the beach southeast of Battle Girl Hillary reappears occasionally hidden.

South of the house, southwest of Black Belt Zachary requires Strength. Rare Candy. South of the house, southeast of Black Belt Zachary requires Strength hidden.
Star Piece. South of the house, near Veteran Vincent requires Strength. At the most western edge of the route, south of Veteran Maya. Magma Stone. On one of the cliffs in the northern section, east of Veteran Chester. East of Magma Stone, down the stairs hidden. North of Battle Girl Wendy. Prism Scale. Beach on the eastern edge of the route, accessible from northern Route 17 reappears occasionally hidden.
